Salary: $190,000–$246,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain ML infrastructure for experimentation, training, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Develop distributed data processing, moderation, recommendation, and trust-and-safety pipelines for large-scale datasets.
• Build backend APIs and platform services using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• Deploy and operate production ML systems, optimizing compute, storage, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop model-serving, feature-store, A/B testing, observability, and automated evaluation capabilities, including LLM workloads.
• Collaborate with software, data, and ML engineers; mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical hiring and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years designing large-scale distributed ML platform systems with Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, or Databricks.
• Professional experience with multiple programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, Docker, managed orchestration, Prometheus, Grafana, and Grafana Mimir.
• Experience building recommendation, moderation, or LLM-serving infrastructure with Ray Serve or Triton, plus database and data-pipeline optimization.
• Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives and implementing CI/CD and GitOps practices with Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, Jenkins, Buildkite, or related systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Delta Lake, Redis, ValKey, DynamoDB, or analytical data warehouses.
• Experience with canary releases, blue-green deployments, and zero-downtime migrations.
