EF EHS Prevention Officer / Area Safety Guard (ASG)

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands; customer-fab travel required 15–35% depending on assignment needs.

What you will do

• Act as the primary safety contact for the EUV Factory cleanroom and guide daily work practices.
• Review work permits, perform safety checks, and document gas measurements.
• Conduct audits covering safety, contamination control, work-permit adherence, 5S+1, and Lockout/Tagout principles.
• Coach factory teams on 5S+1, Lockout/Tagout, working at heights, and confined-space entry.
• Support EF installation teams in customer fabs and supervise safety during system installation phases.
• Identify unsafe conditions and help maintain compliant work environments at customer sites worldwide.

Requirements

• MVK and MBO-4 education, preferably with a mechatronics background.
• Around eight years of relevant experience in manufacturing or safety-related environments is preferred; more than five years of experience with work permits, safety inspections, and VCA is preferred.
• Good command of English is required.
• Experience in safety or technical work environments, preferably cleanrooms.
• Strong communication, structured working, initiative, stress resistance, and the ability to influence without authority.
• Proficiency with digital systems including MS Excel, SAP, and intranet tools.

• Dutch language skills for daily interactions on the work floor.
• Mechatronics-focused education or experience.
