Senior Java Full-Stack Developer – SaaS and On-Prem Support

Location: Portugal, hybrid work model with up to 3 remote days per week

What you will do

• Resolve Level 2 and Level 3 tickets through incident analysis, configuration, and minor application evolutions.
• Develop enhancements and fix defects across the application landscape.
• Manage integrations, APIs, and data flows.
• Support releases, deployments, upgrades, and coordination with software vendors.
• Maintain operational runbooks and documentation while contributing to problem management.
• Collaborate in an Agile team to improve system stability and performance.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of Java full-stack development experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong backend development, microservices architecture, and API integration experience.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Production support experience, including debugging, log analysis, and incident resolution.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union, specifically Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring and Kafka.
• Experience deploying microservices in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of microservices security, performance optimization, and advanced backend patterns.
• Certifications in Java, APIs, or microservices architecture.
