TL;DR
Fullstack Developer with Java & React (Java/React): Developing and maintaining robust backend applications and full-stack solutions with an accent on Spring Boot, MySQL performance, Kafka-based event-driven architecture, AWS, and Next.js. Focus on optimizing data models and queries, building distributed systems, and collaborating across design, development, and deployment.
Location: Remote, based in Portugal. Requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build full-stack features with React and Next.js.
- Design and optimize MySQL data models and queries for performance and reliability at retail scale.
- Implement and maintain Kafka-based event-driven architecture within distributed systems.
- Use AWS services across development and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams spanning design, development, and deployment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer with Java and React.
- Proficiency in newer Java versions and Spring Boot.
- Practical knowledge of MySQL, Kafka, AWS, and Next.js.
- Strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.
- English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
- Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.
