OKYC Operations Analyst (AML)

Location: Hybrid in Edinburgh, Birmingham, or Manchester, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time in the office

Salary: £33,203–£34,950 per year

What you will do

• Perform ongoing due diligence for Business & Commercial Banking portfolios.
• Assess potential and actual risk in line with Group-wide policy requirements and minimum standards.
• Provide technical, procedural, product, and specialist support to internal and external clients.
• Own queries and issues through to resolution while managing expectations.
• Build relationships across Business & Commercial Banking and act as a liaison with AML partners.
• Prioritise work, solve problems under pressure, and deliver against strict deadlines and service standards.

Requirements

• At least two years of strong technical knowledge in Anti-Bribery, AML, and Sanctions.
• Experience applying financial crime knowledge in a client-focused environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with internal and external clients.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to business goals.
• Full-time availability for 35 hours per week on a fixed-term contract or secondment.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of other financial crime areas in addition to Anti-Bribery, AML, and Sanctions.
