Mobile Software Engineer - iOS (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid (London), with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site

Salary: £76,760–£95,950 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship high-quality mobile experiences for iOS users.
• Create consumer-facing features in collaboration with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Improve user experience through attention to detail, bug resolution, and rapid iteration.
• Optimise application performance and contribute to reliable mobile product delivery.
• Work within a cross-functional Agile or Scrum team and take ownership of engineering outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience developing mobile applications and shipping one or more applications to the Apple App Store.
• Strong development experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Swift Concurrency.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and create intuitive, high-quality user experiences.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and implementing consumer-facing fintech products.
• Knowledge of iOS UI patterns, modern mobile architecture, and application performance optimisation.
• Experience contributing to product and design discussions.
• Experience in fast-paced, scaling technology organisations.
