Salary: Up to £42,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain iOS applications.
• Collaborate with the CDA product team and contribute to engineering decisions.
• Build apps supporting newsgathering, live broadcasting, colleague discovery, safety, and internal IT services.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews, pairing, agile planning, and continuous delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and contribute to continuous engineering improvement.
• Learn new technologies and share knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience developing iOS applications with Xcode.
• Good knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to professional development and willingness to support knowledge sharing.
• Successful applicants must pass employment screening, including reference and eligibility-to-work checks.

Nice to have

• Understanding of UI/UX design and mobile accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with UIKit.
• Experience with CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager.
