What you will do

• Implement and maintain analytics event tracking in iPhone and iPad applications using iOS best practices.
• Translate event specifications into instrumentation that follows agreed schemas, naming conventions, and data contracts.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, data engineers, and other iOS teams across an inner source model.
• Investigate missing, incorrect, or inconsistent event data and own permanent fixes.
• Support iOS experimentation through Optimizely SDK integration, exposure and variant events, and operational monitoring.
• Improve code quality, testing, maintainability, and the safe delivery of tracking changes.

Requirements

• Experience building iOS applications with Swift and core iOS frameworks.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs into production iOS applications, preferably for analytics or experimentation.
• Understanding of event batching, queuing, flushing, and trade-offs involving data completeness, battery use, and network performance.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, architecture concepts, maintainable code, and mobile privacy and consent requirements.
• Ability to debug data issues by inspecting payloads, comparing expected output, and collaborating with analysts.
• Familiarity with unit testing and UI automation tools.

Nice to have

• SQL or Databricks familiarity.
