Manager/Vice President – Regional Tax

Location: Shirify.globalapore; regional coverage includes Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea

What you will do

• Advise Wholesale Bankhirify.global business units on tax implications of transactions, cross-border matters, withholdhirify.global tax and treaty benefits.
• Approve new product proposals and tax-driven structures through tax research and collaboration with Front Office, internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Lead regional transfer prichirify.global projects, documentation, recharge arrangements and BEPS Pillar Two initiatives.
• Review tax clauses, entity establishment, restructurhirify.global, liquidation and joint venture arrangements for strategic and ad hoc projects.
• Implement and test tax process controls, includhirify.global SOX-related controls, and monitor regional tax developments and risks.
• Advise Finance teams and CFOs on tax compliance, audits, disputes and IFRS tax reporthirify.global across Shirify.globalapore, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.

Requirements

• Recognised tax or accounthirify.global qualification.
• At least 10–12 years of relevant taxation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Shirify.globalapore tax and international tax principles.
• Experience with cross-border transactions, withholdhirify.global taxes, tax treaties and transfer prichirify.global.
• Strong analytical, problem-solvhirify.global, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English and confidence engaghirify.global with senior management.

Nice to have

• Experience in bankhirify.global or financial services.
• Exposure to transfer prichirify.global, BEPS and Pillar Two initiatives.
• Experience managhirify.global tax audits, tax authority reviews and tax controversy across multiple jurisdictions.
