Senior Treasury & Reconciliation Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Riga, Latvia; Hybrid

Salary: €4,000–5,000 gross per month

Regulated Latvian financial institution providing electronic money and payment services as an authorised Electronic Money Institution.

What you will do

• Manage daily reconciliation of payment flows, bank accounts, clearing, and correspondent accounts.
• Monitor daily liquidity across SEPA clearing, correspondent banks, and collateral accounts.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports.
• Review, update, and develop reconciliation and financial operations procedures in line with Latvian legislation.
• Support reconciliation for card issuing and payment card operations.
• Own the treasury and reconciliation function and potentially build and manage a team as the company scales.

Requirements

• Strong experience in banking, electronic money institutions, payments, or regulated fintech.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliation, treasury operations, and liquidity management.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and preparing or submitting reports.
• Good understanding of SEPA, TARGET, clearing, correspondent banking, and payment flows.
• English and Latvian required.
• Ability to develop financial procedures based on applicable regulations and legislation.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Latvijas Banka or in the Latvian regulated financial ecosystem.
• Experience in Latvian commercial banking.
• Card issuing and reconciliation experience.
• Accounting or financial reporting knowledge.
