Head of Product (AI)

What you will do

• Own product and design strategy end-to-end, translating customer needs, market dynamics, and business priorities into a focused product portfolio and roadmap.
• Make prioritization and product-engineering trade-off decisions across quality, technical debt, delivery speed, and long-term scalability.
• Lead and coach two Product Managers and a Design Lead while raising execution, collaboration, and craft standards.
• Build an AI-native product and operating model by identifying practical opportunities for AI in product development and team workflows.
• Partner with founders, engineering, and go-to-market stakeholders to align product and technical priorities, decision rights, capabilities, timing, and customer impact.
• Develop customer-feedback systems, improve delivery predictability, and establish written decision-making practices for distributed teams.

Requirements

• Experience leading product at a growth-stage software company, preferably in customer research, data, developer tools, or an adjacent technology environment.
• End-to-end ownership of product and design functions with deep involvement in execution.
• Strong prioritization, judgment, customer orientation, and ability to convert ambiguity into clear decisions.
• Experience managing and developing senior product and design professionals.
• Practical experience using AI to improve product development, decision-making, analysis, or operational workflows.
• Technical fluency sufficient to understand software architecture and codebases, prototype lightweight solutions, and engage with engineers on technical trade-offs.
