Optexity is a product-driven research lab building clinical reasoning and computer-use models from proprietary data collected through clinic and hospital deployments.
What you will do
- Analyze proprietary clinical reasoning data from hospital and clinic partners.
- Build models that improve physician and clinic workflows.
- Design and publish benchmarks for real-world clinical reasoning.
- Evaluate computer-use models on practical clinical tasks.
- Own model training and evaluation pipelines end to end.
- Turn open-ended research questions into working models, technical reports, and papers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated research experience, including problem definition.
- Experience training models rather than only fine-tuning APIs.
- Fluency in Python.
- Master's degree or higher in machine learning or a related field.
- Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and take ownership.
- Interest in publishing research and working in a startup environment.
Nice to have
- Prior founder or founding-engineer experience.
- Strong product judgment.
- Experience with healthcare datasets.
- Experience building LLM-powered products.
- Ambition to start a company in the future.
