What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated tests in TypeScript alongside application code
• Collaborate with developers on feature lifecycle, from design to defect resolution
• Define test strategies at feature and system levels
• Improve the automation testing framework and decide on mocks vs real integrations
• Ensure tests are reliable, maintainable, and CI/CD-ready
• Conduct code reviews for test and application code, provide feedback on quality

Requirements

• English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher, both written and spoken
• 3–5+ years in test automation within product/platform teams
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript experience
• End-to-end tests with near-code/monorepo approach
• Modern E2E frameworks like Playwright
• REST API testing, testing principles (test pyramid, shift-left), CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Integration tests, framework design contributions
• Docker, GraphQL APIs
• Distributed systems, non-functional testing
