QA Specialist

TL;DR

QA Specialist (Playwright/TypeScript): Design and execute test plans for D2C subscription products in health, education, and entertainment with an accent on functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing. Location: Remote within approximately ±4 hours of CET (Central European Time). Countries: Ukraine, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia.

What you will do

• Design and execute test plans covering functional, regression, edge case, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Perform exploratory testing and validate builds during release cycles.
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and validate backend APIs with Postman.
• Use SQL for data verification, test payment flows, and document bugs precisely.
• Contribute to QA processes, standards, and living test documentation.

Requirements

• Located within ±4 hours of CET for optimal collaboration.
• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in product or SaaS environment.
• Strong experience with test automation, Playwright + TypeScript preferred.
• Solid API testing with Postman or similar, SQL for data validation.
• Experience testing subscription funnels, checkout, or payments.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Attention to detail, ownership mindset, comfortable in remote fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Performance/load testing (k6, Locust).
• CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions.
• Monitoring tools like Sentry or Better Stack.
• Background in fintech, subscription, or health/wellness products.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
