Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

What you will do

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices according to company policies.
• Manage the accounts payable inbox and vendor communications.
• Support three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile item receipts, vendor statements, outstanding balances, and payment details with Supply Chain and Engineering.
• Process check runs, ACH payments, wire transfers, employee reimbursements, and corporate card reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including AP accruals, and provide ad hoc support to the Senior Accounting Manager.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounts payable accounting processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, expense management platforms, procurement platforms, and Excel; NetSuite, Ramp, and Silkline are preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Must meet U.S. Person and applicable ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations.
