Director, Quality Assurance (Game Development)

Location: Remote within the US or Canada, or onsite at the Culver City hub

Salary: $139,400–$205,000 USD annual base salary for candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA; equity, bonuses, and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Define and execute a scalable QA vision and roadmap for a new free-to-play adventure game across PC and mobile.
• Drive modern testing strategies, test automation frameworks, QA tooling, and quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Establish and monitor quality KPIs and metrics to assess product health, identify risks, and guide improvement.
• Build the QA organizational structure, hiring strategy, resourcing plans, and high-performing teams across multiple initiatives and regions.
• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize quality risks and support multiple high-profile releases.
• Mentor QA professionals, develop leadership pipelines, and foster ownership, accountability, and innovation.

Requirements

• Significant senior leadership experience in Quality Assurance within game development.
• Strong technical expertise in automated testing, QA tooling, and scalable test automation frameworks.
• Experience supporting complex multi-platform products, ideally across PC and mobile.
• Exceptional leadership, people management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience working in agile development environments and managing quality coverage across releases with strict deadlines.
• Extensive knowledge of Jira or comparable defect-tracking and development-management systems.
