Test Automation Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Build reusable automation frameworks and test suites with Playwright, Katalon Studio, and other modern tools.
• Implement AI-assisted automation with Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist to improve testing efficiency.
• Integrate automated smoke testing into pull requests and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
• Define automation standards, support product teams, troubleshoot frameworks, and communicate quality risks.
• Collaborate with software engineers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to improve application quality and testability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Quality Engineering experience focused on test automation.
• Expert-level experience with Playwright, Katalon Studio, Selenium, Sauce Labs, and Micro Focus ALM.
• Experience designing automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with UI and API testing and CI/CD integration using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Strong programming, scripting, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development or automation tools, Shift-Left testing, cloud-native applications, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience in healthcare technology or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience mentoring engineers and promoting automation best practices across teams.
