What you will do

• Develop, test, implement, maintain, and improve healthcare quality measures and measure specifications.
• Oversee descriptive and statistical analyses of large, complex administrative, survey, and patient-reported outcome datasets.
• Lead technical expert panels, interpret CMS quality program rules, and evaluate testing results against CMS criteria.
• Synthesize research and stakeholder feedback into recommendations for quality measure improvements.
• Communicate methods, findings, and implications through technical reports, memoranda, presentations, and client documentation.
• Manage budgets, timelines, scope, and resources; supervise research staff and contribute to federal proposal development.

Requirements

• PhD in public policy, health policy, public administration, public health, nursing, or a related field; or a master’s degree in one of these fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing, implementing, or adapting quality measures for federal programs.
• Experience presenting technical material to varied audiences and facilitating expert working groups.
• Experience developing and writing proposals for federal agencies.
• Experience working with large administrative, patient-reported outcome, and survey datasets.
• Current U.S. work authorization is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
• Understanding of the CMS Measures Management Blueprint and Consensus-Based Entity endorsement requirements.
