Duck Creek Developer II – Billing (Duck Creek)

Location: Remote opportunity or onsite at offices in Springfield, Missouri; San Juan, Puerto Rico; or Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time, with occasional work outside primary hours and travel as needed.

What you will do

• Develop customized Duck Creek Billing solutions using ManuScript configuration, integrations, and technical components.
• Work with Duck Creek Billing capabilities including Author, Express, Server, User Admin, Billing, and Billing Integration.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot complex customer issues.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, architects, quality specialists, business experts, clients, and project leadership in an Agile environment.
• Participate in solution planning, code reviews, software development lifecycle activities, and coding standards initiatives.
• Guide and mentor junior-level developers while continuing to build expertise toward a Senior Developer role.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industry experience or equivalent training, including at least 3 years with Duck Creek Billing or related Duck Creek products.
• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Duck Creek Billing, ManuScript inheritance structures, Author, debugging tools, Skins, Duck Creek Anywhere, and Duck Creek APIs.
• Experience with C# custom business objects, SOAP and REST APIs, XML, multiple Duck Creek product versions, and source control.
• Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions and types, cursors, and XQueries.
• Knowledge of Billing Services, Scheduled Activities, Async Queue, versioning, project management and issue-tracking systems such as ADO or JIRA.
• Microsoft Office 365, software development lifecycle, Agile practices, strong communication, organization, independent work, and mentoring skills are required. A bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Information Systems is preferred.
