Global Indirect Tax Senior Associate - Property Tax

Location: Downers Grove or Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance required at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Salary: $101,200–$129,300 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare and review simple to complex U.S. property tax returns for multiple clients.
• Validate assessment notices and reconcile them against rendered property values.
• Assist with processing property tax bill payments and related documentation.
• Research property tax laws and regulations and advise on client tax matters.
• Communicate with clients, teammates, and taxing jurisdictions to gather information and resolve issues.
• Participate in professional development and training while supporting engagement objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an Accounting degree is preferred.
• Two to six years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• CPA, JD, or Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
• Experience with property tax administration software such as PTMS and OneSource.
