Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot)

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain digital banking software and scalable backend services.
• Implement production-ready features, proof-of-concepts, technical documentation, system diagrams, and debugging reports.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers to translate business needs and user stories into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile planning, Scrum events, demos, acceptance-criteria definition, and peer code reviews.
• Optimize performance, monitor delivery and system metrics, and improve development workflows.
• Contribute to technology decisions, roadmap input, continuous delivery, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience with Java.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, concurrent programming, and transactional systems.
• Experience with microservices, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Pub/Sub, and Data Flow.
• Experience with API governance, API security, API design, cloud environments, Agile development, Git, Maven, Tomcat, and IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
• Ability to communicate effectively, solve problems analytically, and create scalable, user-centered solutions.

Nice to have

• Full-stack experience with React or React Native, or experience with native iOS and Android development.
• Experience with Agile Scrum, SAFe, Jenkins, GitHub CI, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure solution design.
• Familiarity with Python, Ruby, Perl, Node, Bash, C, C++, and Terraform.
