Senior Java Engineer (Java)

Location: Remote work is available from any location in Germany, with regular team and area anchor days requiring office attendance. Berlin office.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain product functionality with a cross-functional team.
• Build, launch, and operate scalable software solutions and Java services.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs that are easy to use and self-documented.
• Improve customer experience, measurable customer value, and data safety through hypothesis-driven development.
• Collaborate in an autonomous team and contribute ideas across complex system landscapes.

Requirements

• Professional experience building Java services with Spring Boot, Spring Native, Micronaut, or Quarkus.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience creating and consuming scalable RESTful APIs.
• Strong focus on code quality, automated testing, and test coverage.
• Experience in a customer-centric domain and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to work from Germany and attend regular office anchor days.
