Software Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Bay Harbor Islands, FL

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain software, workhirify.global automations, and AI-enabled products.
• Partner with operations, marketing, leasing, and other business functions to identify workhirify.global problems and deliver scalable solutions.
• Work across backend, frontend, data, and infrastructure to ship complete solutions.
• Lead experiments, measure impact, and iterate toward tools that create measurable business value.
• Own initiatives end-to-end, from stakeholder discovery and workhirify.global mapping through implementation, rollout, and adoption.
• Document architecture and use AI coding assistants while maintaining quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• At least three years of software engineering experience building products, platforms, or internal tools.
• Solid backend fundamentals and willingness to work as a generalist across the stack.
• Hands-on experience with or strong interest in shell scripting, Python, Go, and TypeScript.
• Experience with relational, vector, and graph databases, as well as reliable and scalable software systems.
• Hands-on fluency with AI development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, combined with sound engineering judgment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, product instincts, analytical ability, curiosity, and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience working in fast-moving startup environments.
• Experience solving workhirify.global problems closely with business and product stakeholders.
