Test Engineer-Aurora (Automotive)

Location: New Braunfels, Texas, United States; legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Relocation assistance is not offered.

What you will do

• Design, code, debug, and maintain test software for parametric measurements, functional testing, and throughput requirements.
• Develop and integrate loadboxes, fixtures, cables, and test bays for product testing.
• Create and execute system-level test strategies, plans, and procedures for the Aurora manufacturing process.
• Participate in product and process problem-solving teams and perform root-cause analysis.
• Improve product quality, test-system yield, test-time performance, and manufacturing productivity.
• Coordinate multiple project activities and communicate progress across project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Knowledge of electronics testing processes and measurement systems.
• Basic programming knowledge and exposure to C and C#.
• Understanding of digital and analog circuits.
• Knowledge of automotive development methods and communication technologies such as Ethernet, CAN, UDP, and TCP/IP.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of electronics testing experience.
• Strong programming skills and proficiency in C and C#.
• Experience transforming R&D functions from Python, C++, or MATLAB into efficient production processes.
