Electrical Test Engineer (Radiation Testing)

Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80919, USA; onsite laboratory role

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 per year

Provides testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services, including radiation effects testing and analysis for aerospace companies, semiconductor manufacturers, and other technical industries.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement electrical test setups for radiation effects testing.
• Test electronic components and systems in natural and man-made radiation environments across terrestrial, airborne, and space applications.
• Evaluate electrical test results for validity and statistical significance.
• Document radiation-induced effects on electronic parts and materials through test plans and reports.
• Perform additional engineering and testing duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or otherwise qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Engineering or Physics degrees with relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Understanding of electronic components and their operation.
• Required experience with analog design and circuit design.
• Ability to test according to a data sheet.

Nice to have

• Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
