Senior Provider Contracting Professional

Location: Remote, but candidates must live in the State of Illinois; the ideal candidate is located within the Chicago area. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $78,400–$107,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Initiate, negotiate, and execute contracts with physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers.
• Communicate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers.
• Analyze the financial impact of contract terms and reimbursement models.
• Maintain contracts and related documentation in a tracking system.
• Support provider identification and recruitment based on network needs.
• Influence departmental strategy and independently determine approaches for complex assignments.

Requirements

• Must live within the State of Illinois.
• At least 3 years of progressive network management experience within a health plan.
• At least 3 years of experience negotiating managed care contracts with large physician groups and ancillary providers in the Illinois market.
• Ability to analyze, understand, and communicate the financial impact of contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex to complex issues.
• Dedicated work space and self-provided internet with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Hospital contracting experience.
• Experience with ACO or risk contracting.
• Experience with value-based contracting.
