Architect (Networking)

Location: Hybrid role based in South or Central Florida, with locations in Orlando, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale; travel up to 30%.

What you will do

• Architect and lead the implementation of secure data, wireless, and security network solutions.
• Perform project-based network engineering, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Deploy routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks in medium to large environments.
• Provide network consulting services, assessments, and implementation support.
• Create graphical and text-based design documentation and manage implementation through customer acceptance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and client IT staff to deliver strong customer outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of network engineering, design, configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting experience.
• Cloud networking experience with AWS required, or relevant Azure experience.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering projects for a VAR or systems integrator.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco firewalls/VPNs, wireless networks, routing, and switching.
• Bachelor’s degree, equivalent experience, or military experience.
• Ability to communicate with client stakeholders, work independently and collaboratively, and lead engineering projects technically.

Nice to have

• CCIE or a similar certification.
• Experience building comprehensive networking solutions and developing client relationships.
