Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; expected to work in the office 5 days a week.

Annual base salary: $175,000–$215,000; target annual bonus: 10%.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and data pipelines for large-scale company and person data.
• Own system components end-to-end, from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build reliable, efficient, and scalable services that process billions of records from multiple external sources.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, evaluate tradeoffs, review code, and provide technical guidance.
• Support production systems through troubleshooting, incident response, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data science partners while applying AI and LLM tooling where useful.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily with backend systems.
• 5+ years of Java development experience, including production microservices.
• 4+ years of experience with Spring Boot or the Spring Framework.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with distributed systems, testing, and production software.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of large-scale ingestion, transformation, enrichment, entity resolution, deduplication, or data quality.
• Experience with RESTful API design, domain-driven design, service-oriented architecture, and automated testing.
• Practical familiarity with AI and LLM tools.
