Vice President, Security Engineering

What you will do

• Perform application security assessments, including code reviews, penetration tests, design reviews, and threat modeling.
• Review application security architecture, policies, standards, and related documentation.
• Identify software vulnerabilities, exploit vectors, and security risks across application designs and components.
• Research cloud services and assess secure ways to leverage cloud technologies.
• Document issues, develop remediation recommendations, and advise application and component owners.
• Collaborate with cyber defense, incident management, forensic, and engineering personnel on threat analysis and security consulting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience reviewing security controls across different designs and systems to identify security gaps.
• Experience explaining and articulating security risks to developers and engineers.
• Experience performing application vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of web applications.
• Experience reviewing code in web application programming languages such as Java and assessing common web stack technologies.
• Experience performing architecture reviews of web applications.
