Senior Application & AI Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work with on-site presence at the office 4 days per week.

A global business communications provider developing agentic voice AI and integrated communications products.

What you will do

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Operations, and architecture teams on secure product design and development standards.
• Perform security design reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, targeted code reviews, and penetration testing.
• Guide vulnerability remediation, validate fixes, triage bug bounty reports, and support external penetration-testing activities.
• Help teams use SAST, DAST, and software composition analysis tools while evaluating actionable findings and false positives.
• Assess AI-enabled applications, coding assistants, agents, MCP servers, and integrations for security risks.
• Develop AI-assisted security workflows, evaluate security products through PoCs, and provide evidence-based adoption recommendations.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of web application vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and remediation.
• Experience with application security design reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, code review, penetration testing, SAST, DAST, and software composition analysis.
• Technical experience with software or product architecture, design, and implementation.
• Understanding of security risks in AI-enabled applications, coding assistants, agents, tool integrations, or similar systems.
• Practical scripting or software-development ability for testing workflows, integrations, or security prototypes.
• Ability to communicate risk-based technical assessments and collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience securing WebRTC, video, or audio-streaming products.
• Familiarity with video codecs and related media technologies.
• Experience assessing LLM applications, RAG systems, AI agents, MCP servers, or AI development tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
