Accountant, Corporate Accounting (Financial Reporting)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland — 4 days in the office and 1 day remote

What you will do

• Perform daily accounting activities, prepare journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
• Recognize project revenue according to Group accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Execute month-end closing activities for assigned entities and divisions within reporting timelines.
• Prepare VAT, Intrastat, tax-related, management, cost, revenue, and COGS reports.
• Investigate discrepancies and transaction-processing issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
• Support audits, internal controls, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international organization.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and financial analysis.
• Experience with integrated finance systems or ERP solutions.
• Fluent English required for communication with international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
