Senior Accountant (Fintech) (General Ledger and Polish Accounting): Performing full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, reporting, tax calculations, and financial closing for a fintech company with an accent on Polish Accounting Standards, statutory reporting, and intercompany transactions. Focus on preparing financial statements, supporting audits and tax processes, and identifying opportunities to automate accounting workflows.

What you will do
- Perform day-to-day General Ledger accounting, including posting and reconciling bank transactions.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and support Profit & Loss and Cash Flow reporting.
- Prepare statutory financial statements, tax calculations, tax reconciliations, and supporting documentation for Polish reporting requirements.
- Support payroll accounting, budgeting, forecasting, R&D accounting, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Cooperate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders while improving accounting processes and controls.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or completion of a Technical Secondary School of Economics.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Hands-on experience with General Ledger and full-cycle accounting, preferably for limited liability companies.
- Good knowledge of Polish Accounting Standards and experience with month-end closing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, very good Microsoft Excel knowledge, and experience with ERP or accounting systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Comarch Optima, Purchase Order management, R&D accounting, or international accounting principles.
- Experience supporting finance-related projects or automating finance processes.
- English language skills.
