Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: On-site in New York City, United States

Salary: $240,000–$316,000 per year, plus a competitive options program.

What you will do

• Lead design across multiple product areas and create coherent experiences across complex legal workflows.
• Shape product strategy by framing difficult problems, influencing roadmaps, and turning ambiguity into practical solutions.
• Set high standards for interaction design, visual design, accessibility, and usability.
• Partner with product and engineering to make effective tradeoffs and ship high-quality experiences quickly.
• Explore zero-to-one product concepts and support scaled launches.
• Develop AI-assisted ways of working and help grow the NYC design community.

Requirements

• Extensive product design experience shipping complex, high-impact products.
• Exceptional interaction and visual design craft with strong attention to both detail and overall product direction.
• Ability to own complex, ambiguous problems and create clarity across teams and product areas.
• Ability to move between hands-on design and product strategy.
• Strong product judgment and communication skills, with the ability to influence product, engineering, and leadership.
• Ability to work on-site in the New York City office.
