DevOps Platform Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Design, build, and operate scalable application infrastructure and self-service platforms for engineering teams with an accent on AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, and AI-driven operations. What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable application infrastructure and internal platforms on AWS.
- Operate Kubernetes-based production environments and improve reliability, availability, performance, and scalability.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
- Develop self-service platform capabilities and tools that improve developer productivity and experience.
- Lead troubleshooting, incident investigations, and root cause analysis for complex production issues.
- Evaluate and integrate AI agents, LLM-based tools, and AIOps capabilities into infrastructure and developer workflows.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar tools.
- Production-grade programming or automation experience with Python, Go, Bash, or a similar language.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, load balancing, distributed systems, monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM APIs, AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, AI agents, RAG, MCP, CAG, or AIOps.
- Experience with data platforms, data pipelines, streaming systems, or distributed data architectures.
- Experience with large-scale, multi-region, or multi-account AWS environments and GitOps tools.
- Knowledge of service meshes, API gateways, service discovery, cloud security, secrets management, or Vault.
- Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability platforms.
