What you will do

• Supervise pharmacy technicians preparing pre-dispensed methadone and take-home bottles.
• Oversee medication accountability and maintain accurate daily transaction records between pharmacy and nursing departments.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Report irreconcilable events and discrepancies in accordance with company policy and DEA regulations.
• Complete professional development and required training from federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies.

Requirements

• Active PharmD and DEA licensure in the state of employment required.
• Effective communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
• Ability to read correspondence and computer screens and to stand, bend, stoop, and stretch for extended periods.
• Comfort with variable workloads, periodic high-stress situations, medical office conditions, and diverse patient populations.
• Ability to use protective equipment when required.
