Senior Solutions Architect (Apache Kafka)

Location: AMER; West Coast preferred. Hybrid work policy applies, with travel of up to 20%.

What you will do

• Build customer relationships from pre-sales through rollout, adoption, and ongoing growth.
• Lead proof-of-concept implementations and solve technical onboarding challenges.
• Contribute to sales engagements and support customer stability, enablement, and expansion.
• Represent hirify.global through technical blogs, webinars, meetups, and conference talks.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Travel up to 20% of the time.

Requirements

• Senior experience in technology or software sales, pre-sales, consulting, or solutions architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with one or more of Apache Kafka, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL, OpenSearch, or Redis.
• Fluency in a programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including compute, storage, networking, and security groups.
• Strong Linux, networking, search-engine, streaming, distributed-storage, NoSQL, and data-lake experience.
• Clear technical communication, problem-solving, project-management, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Flink, Apache Spark Streaming, AWS Kinesis, Elasticsearch, or Lucene.
