Intern Software Developer (3D Graphics)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; hybrid position for the Winter 2027 work term from January to April

Company

hirify.global develops software for creators and innovators, including Maya, 3ds Max, Flame, and ShotGrid for the media and entertainment industry.

What you will do

• Develop features that improve real-time experiences and workflows for customers.
• Participate in iterative product design, testing, and development sprints.
• Collaborate with experienced software professionals and contribute to 3D animation and computer graphics solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, ideally focused on computer graphics or 3D programming.
• Basic experience with C++ and experience with debugging.
• Exposure to computer graphics through internships or personal projects.
• Creative, flexible, collaborative, and comfortable communicating and presenting ideas to a group.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge of 3D animation.
• Knowledge of hirify.global software products.
• Familiarity with Agile development.
• Experience or knowledge of Python.
