UI Programmer (Rainbow Six Siege)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain menus, HUDs, and other user-facing UI modules for Rainbow Six Siege.
• Define and implement UI features and tools in collaboration with designers, artists, and programmers.
• Prototype interaction concepts, iterate on feedback, and support UI animations and audio integration.
• Optimize UI code for target platforms and maintain systems supporting UI performance and stability.
• Develop automated testing APIs and tools, integrate accessibility and localization considerations, and debug crashes.
• Contribute technical, creative, and planning feedback across multidisciplinary departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent training and experience.
• At least 5 years of professional C++ programming experience in video games, embedded systems, or a related field.
• Strong ability to write clean, robust, performant, and maintainable C++ code.
• Excellent understanding of MVVM architecture and workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, software engineering, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work office-based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with Visual Studio, Perforce, and Jira.
• Experience working on PC-centric platform experiences.
