Senior CloudOps Engineer – Private Cloud Application Support (Kubernetes/Docker)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Integrate and onboard applications onto private Kubernetes and Docker platforms.
• Provide Level 2/3 application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor application health and performance with Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
• Manage releases, patches, maintenance, SLA/SLO monitoring, and operational KPIs.
• Improve application scalability, resilience, performance, and reliability.
• Contribute to GitLab CI/CD, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, post-mortems, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in cloud operations, application support, or DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of containerized workloads on Kubernetes and Docker, including databases, storage, and secrets management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployment and operations using kubectl and Helm.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Helm for Infrastructure as Code and with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven Level 2/3 incident management and troubleshooting skills.
• Communicative English and an existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French.
• Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications.
