TL;DR
IT Continuity Manager (Banking) (ITSCM/Disaster Recovery): Owning and developing global IT service continuity, resilience, and recovery capabilities across cloud, datacentre, and traditional IT environments with an accent on governance, regulatory compliance, and risk control. Focus on designing continuity standards, monitoring capability compliance, and influencing executives, architects, risk teams, and auditors across a global financial services organisation.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; minimum 3 days per week onsite at the client’s Amsterdam office
Salary: Negotiable EUR per year

What you will do
- Own and maintain the global IT Service Continuity Management process, standards, controls, and governance framework.
- Drive resilience and recovery capabilities across APAC, EMEA, US, and LATAM.
- Design and maintain IT Service Continuity templates and monitor KPI/KRI compliance.
- Support regulatory compliance, audits, operational resilience, and risk oversight.
- Advise Product Owners, Architects, Risk Management, Audit, and senior leadership.
- Promote awareness, training, and adoption of IT Continuity Management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT Service Management or related disciplines, including 3 years in IT Service Continuity Management.
- Experience in highly regulated financial services or banking environments.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of ITSCM, business continuity, disaster recovery, IT risk and control frameworks, and cloud, infrastructure, datacentre, and application environments.
- Located in or willing to work from the client’s Amsterdam office at least 3 days per week onsite.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CITSMP, CBCI, CBCP, or ITIL Practitioner.
- Knowledge of ISO 22301, ISO 27001, NIST2, and DORA frameworks.
- Strong executive presence and experience influencing stakeholders in a global matrix organisation.
