What you will do

• Develop and implement SEO and GEO strategies aligned with client business and conversion goals.
• Analyze markets, competitors, keywords, topics, prompts, search intent, and topic clusters.
• Optimize websites across on-page and technical SEO, information architecture, internal linking, indexability, structured data, and machine readability.
• Improve entity structures, content quality, source credibility, citation potential, and AI readiness for search engines, large language models, and AI agents.
• Monitor SEO, GEO, and AI visibility metrics, conduct experiments across models and platforms, and identify growth opportunities.
• Create performance reports and present strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Several years of professional SEO experience in an agency or in-house environment, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO projects.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Sistrix, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
• Experience with or strong interest in Generative Engine Optimization, AI Search, and systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Understanding of large language models, retrieval, grounding, citations, entities, context, and generative search systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with a willingness to experiment and work with data.
• Ability to work from Vienna or Salzburg, Austria.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Analytics or Matomo.
• Experience with content management systems, structured content, and digital content processes.
• Technical understanding of modern web technologies, with programming knowledge in JavaScript or Python as an advantage.
