Software Engineer II (Fullstack)

Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia; hybrid work with two onsite days per week and the remaining days remote

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services.
• Build user interfaces, Java backend services, RESTful APIs, and database components.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code and contribute to engineering quality standards.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, and Consulting teams to deliver business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including full stack application development.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or Vue, plus Java backend development.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and using ORM technologies such as Hibernate or JPA.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, test automation, and source control tools including Git.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and deploying applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
