TL;DR
Senior Agentic AI Developer (Autonomous Systems): Design, develop, and deploy autonomous and reactive intelligent systems with an accent on agent architectures, machine learning, simulation, and decision-making. Focus on building perception, planning, reasoning, and learning capabilities, integrating AI agents into financial services products, and delivering robust solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
Location: Porto, Portugal, with a hybrid work model of up to three remote days per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do
- Design and develop intelligent agent architectures using machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and hybrid approaches.
- Implement algorithms for perception, reasoning, planning, learning, decision-making, and interaction in autonomous systems.
- Build simulation environments to train, test, and evaluate agent performance.
- Integrate agentic AI solutions into products and services in collaboration with product managers, data scientists, and engineers.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from specifications through deployment, maintenance, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Track agentic AI research and propose innovative technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of AI development experience, specializing in agentic AI, multi-agent systems, or related fields.
- Strong Python skills; experience with C++ or Java is beneficial.
- Experience with ML and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
- Deep knowledge of agentic AI concepts, including perception, reasoning, planning, learning, action, and BDI architectures.
- Hands-on experience with simulation environments such as OpenAI Gym, Unity ML-Agents, or custom platforms, and familiarity with agent modeling tools.
- Excellent written and spoken French is required; candidates must already have the legal right to work in the EU.
Nice to have
- Certifications or experience in advanced AI or agent-based modeling.
- Experience working in international or multicultural teams.
- Technical English for scientific literature and documentation.
