Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia; interstate and intrastate travel is required as needed.

What you will do
- Operationalise the three- to five-year retail labour strategy across more than 1,650 sites.
- Develop bottom-up wage budgets and wage-to-sales forecasting models aligned with commercial targets and workforce agreements.
- Maintain engineered labour standards, productivity databases, and workforce management processes with technology partners.
- Identify labour-mix opportunities, build operational analytics, and track productivity improvements.
- Partner with IT and Transformation teams to optimise UKG-based workforce management solutions and demand-driven scheduling.
- Lead and develop specialist teams while driving alignment across Retail Operations, Finance, Transformation, and senior retail leadership.
Requirements
- Experience leading workforce planning in a large multi-site retail, service, or customer-facing organisation.
- Experience managing, coaching, and developing specialist teams and delivering project outcomes.
- Industrial engineering expertise, including MOST, activity sampling, or time study, combined with strong financial acumen and bottom-up wage budgeting experience.
- Experience with enterprise workforce management systems such as UKG and interpreting Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and Fair Work compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and data-modelling skills, with tertiary qualifications in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business.
- Willingness to travel interstate and intrastate as required.
