VoidZero Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

What you will do

• Design and ship features for the VoidZero family of open-source developer tools.
• Improve projects including Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite+.
• Collaborate across the open-source ecosystem to increase adoption and improve onboarding.
• Optimize tool performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Investigate ambiguous technical issues, debug deeply, and reason from evidence.

Requirements

• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience.
• Background in framework development, developer tooling, or product infrastructure.
• Passion for open source and developer communities.
• Strong product sense and attention to developer experience.
• Experience working across time zones in a remote team, with clear written communication and strong ownership.

Nice to have

• Rust familiarity.
• Experience maintaining open-source projects.
• Experience with compilers, bundlers, test runners, or caching.
• Familiarity with Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, or Vite+.
