What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for enterprise healthcare analytics and reporting.
• Lead automation across data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
• Develop ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured healthcare data sources.
• Build semantic data layers in GCP and BigQuery and optimize performance, partitioning, and costs.
• Partner with architects, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across delivery teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data platform development.
• Strong hands-on expertise with GCP, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, and Dataflow or modern ingestion frameworks.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills, with experience designing and orchestrating ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with semantic layers, dimensional modeling, data quality, observability, and operational reliability.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud engineering best practices.
• Experience leading technical workstreams or mentoring engineering teams; consulting or client-facing experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare data ecosystems, regulated enterprise environments, or payer/provider analytics platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise BI and analytics initiatives.
• Exposure to dbt, Looker, or other semantic modeling frameworks.
