What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms and data processing pipelines.
• Build and manage cloud-native data engineering solutions within the Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement distributed computing frameworks and establish robust data governance.
• Drive technical best practices and leadership across the data engineering organization.
• Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or big data technologies.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and Java and/or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Apache Beam.
• Proven expertise with GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Composer.
• GCP Professional Data Engineer Certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time processing or Vertex AI.
• Experience working in multi-cloud environments.
