What you will do
- Design, develop, maintain, and monitor automated data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Convert manual Excel reporting, data pulls, and repetitive workflows into scalable production processes.
- Optimize SQL queries, data models, and processing performance across reporting and analytical workloads.
- Prepare production data and support model scoring, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting for predictive analytics.
- Investigate data-quality and pipeline issues, reconcile outputs against legacy reports, and improve reliability.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and apply data engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data engineering, analytical data engineering, analytics engineering, BI development, reporting engineering, or a similar role.
- Advanced SQL Server and database skills, including complex queries, joins, window functions, CTEs, performance optimization, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and analytical workflows, plus production experience with Databricks.
- Experience developing business-used reports and dashboards with Tableau or comparable BI tools.
- Experience automating end-to-end reporting workflows and supporting predictive model production, including model scoring, data preparation, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to reverse-engineer undocumented Excel reports, reconcile discrepancies, and communicate requirements with nontechnical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Deep Tableau experience or strong Power BI, Looker, or similar BI expertise.
- Experience with Microsoft data platforms, dimensional modeling, reporting marts, conformed dimensions, and shared fact tables.
- Experience modernizing legacy Excel reports or supporting machine learning operations in production.
- Background in hospitality, vacation ownership, or operational reporting.
