What you will do

• Design and deliver nurse education across designated subjects and modules in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Set and mark authentic, inclusive assessments and provide timely, high-quality feedback.
• Support students through academic advisement and contribute to their professional development.
• Engage in scholarly activity, knowledge transfer, and external engagement.
• Help run educational programmes and undertake leadership and service responsibilities.

Requirements

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council on the adult field nursing pathway is required.
• Clinical experience in acute adult nursing settings is required.
• Relevant first and higher degrees, educated to MA/MSc level or near completion, with at least a completed PGCert.
• Commitment to evidence-based enhancement and development of teaching and learning.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Additional professional or academic qualifications.
• Teaching qualification and/or AHE Fellowship.
• Evidence of disseminating scholarship locally.
• Experience in simulation-based education.
• Publications in professional and refereed journals.
