What you will do

  • Develop and deliver teaching across undergraduate midwifery programmes.
  • Teach in classroom, online, simulation, and practice-focused learning environments.
  • Design, review, and enhance evidence-based learning materials and curricula.
  • Assess student work and provide timely, constructive, and inclusive feedback.
  • Support students in developing professional, educational, and clinical competence.
  • Collaborate with practice partners, professional bodies, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Current registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Relevant first degree and a relevant Master's degree or near-completion of one.
  • Current or recent experience in midwifery practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

  • Teaching experience on undergraduate or postgraduate healthcare programmes.
  • Experience in curriculum development, assessment design, or programme leadership.
  • Teaching qualification or Fellowship of Advance HE.
  • Relevant PhD or doctoral qualification.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
